Course Content

Center for Continuing Education and Enterprise at Ajman University is a leading regional provider of testing, training, and professional development programs, courses, and workshops for individuals and corporate groups in UAE and the wider Gulf region.  

From January 2022 onwards, a new Enterprises Unit has been added to CCEE, which was earlier called the Continuing Education Center (CEC). The Enterprises Unit of CCEE will develop and manage business activities that will serve the needs of the community and businesses in Ajman and the wider UAE. The courses and programs are designed to meet the needs of our corporate world and for community betterment.

Ajman University, under its Strategic Goals #4 & #6, strives to deliver offerings that can provide the needs of the community to achieve a 360-degree skill and professional development of individuals. All the courses under CCEE are designed, evaluated, and implemented by professionals and experts in their fields.

CCEE offers several training programs throughout the year open to the public, corporate channels, students from UAE or other regions, and sometimes to a specialized group of people from the targeted field. Below are some of the training programs, courses, or workshops that the center runs throughout the year. Depending on the nature of the topic, the courses are either time-based (2 or 3 days), fixed week, month-long, or yearly courses.

Following are some of the programs (including their course content) offered during the calendar year 2021, 2022, and 2023. Most of these courses are continuous programs that are offered every year and are open to public enrollment (except for specialized courses):

1. Beauty Therapy Diploma Course (10-months)

Skin Safety and Microbiology, Anatomy, Organ Functions, Dermatology, Care, Nutrition, Product Knowledge, Customer Consultation, Professional Communication, Advanced Skin Treatment.

2. Sign Language Diploma (3-weeks)

Learn sign language. Master the essential communication skills of sign language to engage with the “Special Needs” community effectively. The course is aimed at enhancing inclusivity.

3. Basic Life Support (BLS) training

Basic Life Support (BLS) training. Acquire life-saving skills, CPR, and first-aid knowledge to respond confidently in emergencies.

4. Speech Disorders course (6-months)

Language and Speech Disorders Course: Speech Specialist Qualities, Anatomy, Hearing Impairments, Autism, Neurological, Swallowing Difficulties, Learning Disabilities, Diagnosis, Treatment.

5. Training on “Evaluating the efficiency of administrative performance” (2-days)

Enhance administrative efficiency assessment. Improve data analysis, metrics, and evaluation techniques to optimize organizational performance and decision-making.

6. Training on “Emotional innovation to achieve career success” (2-days)

11. V-Ray for 3ds Max program (2-months)

12. Training on “Customer Service & Happiness” (1-day)

13. “Entrepreneurship” program (2-weeks)

14. “Training of Trainers” program (1-week)

15. Course on “Mastering the art of Microsoft Excel” (1 week)

16. Training on “Basic Concepts in Managing Individuals and Organizations” (3-days)
